Copyright to Storm P.'s artwork

The Storm P. Museum holds the copyright to all of Storm P.'s artwork. All royalties from Storm P.'s works go to 'Tegneren Storm Petersens Museumsfond' (The Artist Storm Petersen's Museum Foundation).

If you wish to use one of Storm P.'s works, you will need permission from the museum. Please email Curator Nikolaj Brandt at nbr@frederiksbergmuseerne.dk or call us at +45 38 86 05 00. Please remember to specify your intended purpose for the artwork, the desired number of copies, sizes and media. We will get back to you with a price estimation. We base our price estimations on the current market and in accordance with COPYDAN rates.

In the museum's permanent collection, you will find approximately 33,000 of Storm P.'s paintings and drawings. All reproductions of the art must be provided by the museum in a high quality image file. Upon payment, we will send you a digital file via a file sharing service such as WeTransfer, or via email. Alternatively, we can copy the file onto a disc. Files can be up to 400 dpi.

The reproduction permission covered by the copyright fee is for one-time use only. The reproduction may not be cropped or otherwise altered without permission from the museum. All reproductions must be credited to Storm P. Museet (The Storm P. Museum). Reproductions intended for use on the internet may not exceed 72 dpi. A case-specific description of terms and conditions will be included in the reproduction permit that you will receive along with your invoice.

The museum retains all rights, including copyright, to any digital reproduction. Reproductions may only be used in the context permitted by the museum. The digital material may not be kept after use.
